Pricing
I publish my prices, because you should be able to work out whether we're a fit without having to email me first.
There are three options and they're the same for every kind of session — motherhood, family, maternity, couples, engagement. Pick how much time you want. Everything else is included, and there's nothing to add on afterwards unless you decide you want prints.
The Hour
$300+ HST
- One hour, one location
- 30–40 finished images
- Best for: one family, one setting, children small enough that an hour is plenty
The Long Session
$550+ HST
- Two hours, two locations or an outfit change
- 60–70 finished images
- Best for: larger families, extended family, couples who want more range, or anyone who'd rather not rush
Mini Session
$175+ HST
- 30 minutes, one location
- 15–20 finished images
- Best for: a quick seasonal update, a single new portrait for the wall, or trying a session before booking something longer
Booking
- A $100 deposit holds your date. It comes off the total.
- The balance is due before your gallery is delivered.
- Rescheduling for weather is free, as many times as the sky demands it.
- Rescheduling for illness is free with as much notice as you can give. With small children this happens, and I'd rather you didn't come sick.
- Travel is included anywhere within about an hour of Kitchener-Waterloo — Cambridge, Guelph, Burlington, Hamilton, Oakville and everything between. Further afield, just ask.
- E-transfer or cash, whichever is easier.
Every session includes
No add-ons, no upsell.
- A planning call. Location, timing, and what to wear — before the day, not on it.
- Wardrobe help. Send me photos of your options and I'll help you choose. As much or as little as you want.
- Location scouting. I know where the light is good and at what time.
- Ideas, if you need them. Some people arrive with a whole vision. Some arrive with nothing. Both are fine — I'll bring enough for two.
- Hand editing. Every image graded individually. No batch presets.
- A private online gallery. Download everything, share the link with family.
- Full print release. They're your photographs. Print them anywhere.
- Two to three weeks from session to gallery.
For the wall, not the cloud
Almost every gallery ever delivered gets downloaded, admired for a week, and then quietly buried under six thousand newer photos.
Which is why I'd gently push you toward printing at least one. A framed portrait on a wall gets looked at every day for a decade. A file does not.
Fine art prints, framed pieces and albums are available through your gallery once it's delivered. No obligation and no pressure — but if you want help choosing, I genuinely enjoy that part.
