Motherhood Photography in Kitchener-Waterloo
For the woman behind the camera. Let's get you in the picture.
Check availabilityWho this is for
You, exactly as you are.
You don't need to wait until you feel ready — until your hair has grown out, the house is tidy, or the baby finally sleeps through the night.
This one is for you exactly as you are right now — because right now is the part they'll want to see. Your hands. Your arms. The way you look at them when you think nobody's watching. Your face at this specific age, which you will never be again.
If the idea of being photographed makes you want to hide, say so when you write. Almost everyone does. Almost everyone ends up ordering a print.

You spend your whole life on the other side of the camera. This one is the picture you're in.

How it works
From hello to gallery.
Say hello
Send me a note about your family and what you're imagining. I'll write back within two days with dates.
We plan it together
We pick a location and a time — usually the last hour before sunset — and I'll help you work out what to wear. This part matters more than people expect, and I'll do as much of it as you want me to.
The session
About an hour. Mostly it's you and your child doing very little. I'll direct when it helps and step back when it doesn't, and I'll keep shooting through the moments you think aren't working. Those are usually the good ones.
Your gallery
Two to three weeks later, a private gallery of finished images. Yours to download, print, and send to everyone.

For expecting mothers
Expecting? Come as you are now.
Best between 30 and 36 weeks
If you're pregnant, the same session works beautifully somewhere between 30 and 36 weeks — far enough along that it shows properly, early enough that standing for an hour is still comfortable.
Bring your partner, bring your older children, bring a chair if you want one. Something long and flowing photographs better than anything else, and we'll talk it through beforehand.
Just mention your due date when you write, and I'll build the timing around it.
Pricing
